Asheville

I fell in love with a city this past weekend.

While only traveling to Asheville to see The Local Natives @ the Grey Eagle and to scope some excellent foliage on the trip down, I was shocked when I left the city toting apartment finder magazines and relocation guides. The town boasts great shopping, antiquing, FOOD FOOD FOOD and so many fun things to do outdoors.

The Fredster and I stopped in a shop called Oddfellows as soon as we crossed into the Asheville limits. This will definitely make it into the list of favorite things done in Asheville. By far one of the best looking antique shops I have been in. Freddie said the same…this means much more than coming from me. I walked through the large garage style door to see 5 vintage wall maps (that we were able to get the deal of the century on). Below is a sneak peak. (it will appear in a later blog about my apartment redecoration infatuation).

We ate so much food. My favorite being the Latin brunch at Chorizo. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

The mountains were beautiful, the leaves were colorful and the atmosphere was unique and charming. I will be returning very soon.
